Product Highlight

Discover the latest clinical evidence supporting Verdye ICG as a standalone tracer for sentinel lymph node biopsy in breast cancer. New UK Study Supports ICG-Only Sentinel Lymph Node Biopsy in Breast Cancer. A prospective UK cohort study, published in the Annals of Surgical Oncology as a follow-on to the INFLUENCE trial, evaluated Verdye as the sole tracer across 300 consecutive sentinel lymph node biopsy procedures in breast cancer patients. The study reported a 99.7% nodal procedural detection rate and 97.7% ICG fluorescent nodal detection, with performance remaining consistent regardless of patient age, BMI, or tumour size, and no ICG-related adverse events recorded. These findings, from one of the largest prospective UK evaluations of ICG as a standalone tracer, support its use as a practical, reliable alternative to traditional dual-tracer techniques in routine clinical practice.
