TauroLock™-HEP500 is a taurolidine-based antimicrobial catheter lock solution, with the addition of heparin, designed to support the prevention of catheter-related bloodstream infections and help maintain catheter patency. The taurolidine component helps prevent microbial adhesion and biofilm formation, while heparin provides anticoagulant activity to support a proactive approach to vascular access management.
