The Transonic® HD03 Haemodialysis Monitor provides healthcare professionals with on-the-spot measurements to support vascular access assessment and haemodialysis management. Using established Transonic® measurement technologies, the HD03 provides information on Delivered Flow, Recirculation and Vascular Access Flow. These measurements help clinical teams identify changes, monitor trends and support informed decision-making as part of a multidisciplinary approach to vascular access care.
Designed in collaboration with cardiologists to solve the most common challenges in radial hemostasis.
The Transonic® HD03 uses transit-time ultrasound to measure blood flow in the lines. As delivered flow can differ from the dialysis machine setting, comparing the machine setting with actual circuit flow helps healthcare professionals assess and optimise dialysis adequacy. Recirculation.
Recirculation occurs when dialysed and undialysed blood mix within the vascular access and is an important cause of inadequate dialysis. The HD03 measures the percentage of recirculation, providing information to help healthcare professionals assess whether patients are receiving the prescribed dialysis treatment.
The Transonic® ultrasound dilution method measures blood flow within the vascular access in mL/min. Changes in Access Flow can indicate access dysfunction, including inflow or outflow stenosis. Measurements can be trended over time and used alongside other clinical indicators, including physical examination findings of dysfunction.
The Transonic HD03 haemodialysis monitor allows you to proactively manage your patients as part of a multidisciplinary vascular access care program, helping to reduce complications and costs associated with end-stage renal disease.¹ Support on-the-spot vascular access assessment with precise, fast measurements, enabling timely clinical decisions and improved patient management. 1 Duda, CR et al, Nephrology News & Issues, 2000; 14(5) Flow-QC® is a trademark of Transonic® and is distributed by Kimal only in the UK.
