Biorema® 26H Dialyser

A high-flux haemodialyser designed for efficient toxin clearance, supporting the effective removal of middle and larger molecules, including various cytokines. Developed to support reliable performance during haemodialysis treatment, the Biorema® 26H provides an effective solution for the demands of modern renal care.

Key Features & Clinical Benefits

Designed in collaboration with cardiologists to solve the most common challenges in radial hemostasis.

Optimised Cut-Off

With an optimised cut-off value of 40 kDa, the Biorema® 26H is designed to support the removal of cytokines, many of which are within the 17 to 33 kDa range, while minimising albumin loss.

High Sieving & Removal Rate

Biorema® 26H demonstrates high sieving performance for myoglobin, a key marker for the removal of larger molecules, including cytokines. In a clinical evaluation conducted in France across 24 sessions involving 8 patients, Biorema® 26H achieved a myoglobin removal rate of >75.5%.⁸ 8. Data per manufacturer’s brochures

High Permeability

With an ultrafiltration (UF) coefficient of 98 ml/h/mmHg, the Biorema® 26H is designed to provide efficient ultrafiltration and support effective fluid management during haemodialysis treatment.

Product Overview

Packing nearly five kilometres of hollow-fibre membrane, Biorema® 26H is the largest dialyser of its kind available today. Its large surface area maximises the removal of middle molecules within the same treatment time, making it particularly beneficial when the removal of inflammatory mediators is a key treatment strategy. Its use is not limited to this indication. Biorema® 26H also provides reliable support when treating patients with comorbidities or other conditions requiring the removal of high-molecular-weight substances.

Clinical Applications

  • Dialysis Treatment / Renal Care
  • In-centre Haemodialysis Treatment
  • Nephrology / Renal Units
