We’re delighted to share that we have been officially recognised as INclusive Worcestershire Leaders by Worcestershire County Council, following a review of our internal and external activities.
We have been awarded for proactively and continuously striving for positive change within Worcestershire, and for being a fair, equitable and inclusive employer, who has demonstrated that we are at the forefront of best practice.
We were assessed on a number of different areas, and many of our existing initiatives and activities scored highly. For more information on these initiatives and activities, please read our Corporate Social Responsibility here.
Rachel Perks, Group People Director, said, “I’m extremely proud that Kimal has been recognised by Worcestershire County Council as an Inclusive Worcestershire Leader. This award reflects the commitment of every team member at Kimal to building a workplace where everyone feels respected, supported, and able to thrive.” “From embedding equality, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) into our day-to-day activities, to actively supporting apprenticeships, and community engagement, this achievement recognises the collective efforts of our entire workforce. With engaging internal and external communication, wellbeing campaigns, and continuous policy development, inclusion at Kimal isn’t a side project, it’s a shared priority. Thank you, this is all of our achievement!”
