All Kimal guidewires are nitinol to minimise kinking and are preloaded in the thumb wheel dispenser to help obtain smooth vascular access.

The tip of the guidewire dispenser is designed to fit into the Altius® guidewire syringe for CVC placement.

Grooved thumb wheel provides greater control when advancing whilst wearing gloves. The anti-slip groove ensures the guidewire stays centred under your thumb.

Depth markings are indicated both on the guidewire dispenser and the guidewire.

All Kimal guidewires are 50cm in length and range from 0.035″ (0.89mm) and 0.035″ (0.89mm) in gauge size.

The Kimal guidewire and guidewire dispenser is available as a standalone item or as part of our Altius, PICCline, MIDline and Kflow Epic Short Term Catheter Kits.
